Studio Tours set for weekend kickoff! See opening party pics!

Hello Friends!

SEE IMAGES FROM OUR OPENING EVENT AT TOPSTAR GALLERY, 136 DEGRAW STREET ON MAY 19!

We now less than a day away and we are working overtime to make this event well worth your while!

We are hammering our remaining nails, hanging our artwork, brush that one last detail and much more to showcase our work for you!

Now is the time to come on in and browse our online galleries (click here) and to download / print out a Tour Map with all of the recent updates.  If you check in throughout the day, you will see content changing before your eyes as all of the last minute details roll in and the final plans that await you become..well..final!  Why so vague?  Because 1) its a surprise and you have to come see for yourself!, and 2) you have done a great job visiting our site, hyping up our event and supporting us in numerous ways that we still have artists joining the weekend affair!  For example, we have just completed signing up Mr. David Macaluso who will be joining the tour on 136 Degraw Street tomorrow.  David is a painter who’s work can be seen here on his website – www.davidmacaluso.com .  How did David find us?  Well from one of our loyal foundation sponsors that’s how!  Thank you Frame It In Brooklyn – www.frameitinbrooklyn.com!  If you are an artist, or simply have a home project that needs matting, framing, archiving, etc. (think pictures, art, mirrors, etc!), Frame It In Brooklyn does it, they have great prices and they are local!

We wanted to reach out to you before our festivities begin to welcome you to the tour!  We really hope that you have made a little time for us on your weekend calendar (it is forecasted to be beautiful, sunny and in the 70′s with some clouds – bring your own cameras and snap some great shots)!  Plan out some studio visits along with some food intake at sponsors like

Margaret Palca Bakes, House of Calzones & Pizza, Botta Divino, Giardini Pizzeria or any other of the famous eateries Carroll Gardens & Red Hook are known for and you have yourself a great Saturday or Sunday afternoon (don’t forget trips to pier to see sweeping city views including the Statue of Liberty, the Verrazano Bridge, New York City, etc. -see Daniel Marino’s images of some of these landmarks by clicking on their names).
